Cures for Depression

I have a question. I have been suffering from recurent depression and anxiety most of my life. Someone told me that I should take Midol or some other PMS medication to treat depresion.

I am affraid to take that, because I am a guy. What affect would PMS medication have on a guy?

Midol and other PMS medications will not do much if you have a chemical imbalance that is causing your anxiety and depression. It may make you feel a little better for a while, but not enough to feel great. Those medications won’t do anything to you because you are male.

I suggest seeing a counselor. A counselor is often cheaper. They cannot prescribe medication, but they usually work for an M.D. or D.O. that can. Medication has made a world of difference for me and I do see a counselor on occasion.
